Yelang Gujiu (夜郎古酒大金奖)
Yelang Gujiu (夜郎古酒大金奖)
Guizhou baijiu in the sauce style, originated in Maotai Town, with multiple solid fermentations and prolonged aging in ceramic jars. The name "Da Jin Jiang" marks the Special Grand Prize won at the centennial of the Panama–Pacific Exposition in 2015, a milestone that launched this label and gave rise to the commercial name; since then, the brand has garnered accolades, including medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and, in 2024, a Grand Gold at the Renhuai international competition. In the glass, it reveals the classic, clean profile of the sauce's aroma: fine notes of soy sauce and toasted sesame, dried fruits, and fermented grains, all enveloped by subtle umami and elegant sweetness. The palate is dense and round, with excellent balance and a long, harmonious finish, perfect for accompanying rich, spicy cuisine.
