Ardbeg An Oa

Islay single malt bottled at 46.6% proof and non-chill filtered. It's the result of a blend of whiskies matured in different casks—Pedro Ximénez, toasted virgin oak, and ex-bourbon—brought together in the distillery's Gathering Vat. The nose reveals classic Ardbeg peat surrounded by notes of dark chocolate and anise. The palate is silky and balanced between smoke and sweetness, with butterscotch, black pepper, and clove, finishing long and intense.
