Ferrand Légendaire

A masterpiece of the house, born in the heart of Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac. It is an assemblage of venerable Paradis cognacs, assembled in a rare "zebra" cask—whose staves are renewed over the years—resulting in only 500 bottles. In the glass, it displays noble rancio with deep layers: chocolate, dried plum, sandalwood, tobacco, and nutmeg; followed by fine spices (clove, cardamom, pepper, paprika) enveloped by buttery caramel, almond, vanilla, and honey. It opens with floral and fruity notes of dried rose, jasmine, saffron, passion fruit, and echoes of old Port, finishing very long, with tangerine, blackberry, hawthorn, moss, cocoa, and incense. The bottle is a hand-blown crystal decanter by Waltersperger, custom-designed for this extremely rare edition.
