Hyde No. 7 Sherry Cask

Triple-distilled Irish single malt, matured entirely for six years in 250L Oloroso sherry hogsheads from Cádiz. The profile is richly sherried: on the nose, there's orange chocolate, honey, and pastry spice with hints of vanilla. On the palate, it's creamy, with dried apricot, stewed plum, and raspberry, enveloping caramel and dried fruit. The finish is long, with honeyed spices, toffee, and an echo of red berries.
