Johnnie Walker Blue Label Phantom and Rare Pittyvaich

A limited edition celebrating the "ghost" distillery of Pittyvaich, Speyside, which closed in 1993, its autumnal and fruity character is the guiding thread of this Blue Label. The nose highlights fresh apple and honeycomb sweetness, enveloped by subtle wood; dark fruits and berries emerge, followed by butterscotch and a light touch of cinnamon. The palate is silky and precise, with cooked orchard fruits and delicate spice leading to a very discreet smoke; it finishes long, elegant, and harmonious. The blend also includes rarities from Port Dundas and Carsebridge, as well as select malts from Mannochmore, Auchroisk, Cragganmore, Strathmill, and Royal Lochnagar.
