Lagavulin 16 Years

A cult Islay single malt, deep and intensely smoky. The nose features peat and fireplace smoke, iodine, and seaweed, with hints of citrus peel, vanilla, and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and oily, combining malty sweetness and a touch of sherry with black pepper, coffee, and a hint of sea salt. The finish is very long, dry, and engaging, marked by lingering smoke, licorice, and light dark chocolate.
