Nikka Yoichi Apple Brandy Wood Finish 2020

A limited-edition Yoichi, finished in apple brandy casks and bottled in 2020 to mark the centenary of Masataka and Rita Taketsuru's marriage. In the glass, it reveals the firm, maritime peat typical of Yoichi, enveloped by sweet notes of baked apple, jam, and pie crust, with malt and light brioche. On the palate, it is silky and well-balanced, combining pastry sweetness with fruity freshness, while the elegant peat lingers on a clean, lingering finish.
