Nikka Yoichi Limited Edition 2019

A rare commemorative edition released to mark the Miyagikyo distillery's 50th anniversary. Created from a selection of malts distilled over five decades—the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s—it was released in a black bottle in a very short run of just 700 units. In the glass, it displays Yoichi's typical maritime and smoky character, enveloped by sweet and elegant layers: sweet oak, butter, maple syrup, and vanilla in the aroma; the palate boasts smoke, barley, and dark chocolate, with a long finish of orange peel and polished oak.
