Quinta do Crasto Reserva Old Vines - Old Vines Red 2021

Crasto Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a complex blend made from the old vines of Quinta do Crasto (approximately 70 years old), including emblematic plots such as Vinha da Ponte and Vinha Maria Teresa, among a total of 42 distinct lots. It matures for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, in a temperature-controlled environment. It presents a complex aroma, with very well-integrated fruit and wood, underscored by spicy notes. On the palate, it reveals an intense and deep flavor, supported by the firm structure of the tannins, culminating in a long and persistent finish. Ideal with robust dishes such as meat or game. It is bottled unfiltered, which may lead to some sedimentation over time.
