Quinta do Vale Meão Red 2021

This wine is the result of a refined blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, and Alicante Bouschet, sourced from the estate's oldest vines, over 35 years old, harvested and vinified separately. After treading in granite lagares, each variety was fermented and aged for 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, half new, half reused, giving it an elegant and balanced profile. In the glass, it displays a deep, concentrated color, followed by complex aromas of ripe currants, black cherries, delicate spices, and a fresh balsamic touch. On the palate, it is vibrant and structured, with polished, well-integrated tannins, leading to a long, memorable finish.
