Rare Cardhu 16 Years Special Release 2022

A Speyside single malt from the Diageo Special Releases 2022 collection, matured in reclaimed and reburned American oak and finished in casks seasoned with pot still Jamaican rum. The nose features fresh, sweet fruits—lemon zest, white grapes, pink grapefruit, and ripe mango—with a slightly ironed linen base. The palate is creamy and light to medium-bodied, with a malty sweetness reminiscent of rum toffee, spicy pineapple, and green banana, enlivened by a spiciness of white pepper and dry oak, culminating in a lively, fresh, and harmonious finish.
