Rare Clynelish 12 Year Old Special Release 2022

A Highland single malt from the Diageo Special Releases 2022 collection, matured in American oak and finished in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks. Creamy, elegant notes emerge on the nose, with clean fruit and herbal touches, candied pear, subtle mincemeat, and heather honey, supported by oak spice and the classic Clynelish waxy hint. The palate is silky and vibrant, with candied orange, mango, and tangerine, almond, and dark caramel, building to well-integrated spice. The finish is medium-long, warm, and harmonious, with echoes of honey, ripe fruit, and a light mineral note.
