The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask

Highland single malt matured in two types of sherry-seasoned oak: American, which imparts honey, vanilla, and toffee, and European, which imparts dried fruits and fine spices. The nose features honey and orange peel, baked apple, and creamy vanilla. The palate is silky and enveloping, with notes of caramel, raisins, smooth ginger, and elegant oak. The finish is long and harmonious, sweet-dry, and delicately spicy.
