Tormore 1994 26 Years G&M

Speyside single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in the Connoisseurs' Choice line, aged for a long time in sherry butt refill. The profile is deep and elegant: on the nose, dark toffee and brown sugar intertwined with vanilla, fruitcake with sultanas, cinnamon, clove, and a touch of orange zest. The palate is smooth and enveloping, with spicy plum, sweet red apple, and a subtle hint of cocoa, evolving into toasted oak and coffee bean. It finishes medium-long, with notes of hazelnut and anise lingering on the palate.
