Valinch & Mallet The Spirit of Art 4 Hampden DOK 13 Years 2009

A Jamaican rum with a high aromatic impetus, distilled in 2009 at Hampden and matured for 13 years in continental aging before being bottled as a single cask. It bears the DOK mark—the distillery's most extreme ester level (c. 1,500–1,600 g/hlpa)—offering an exuberant profile: very ripe tropical fruit, elegant varnish/esters, and a resinous base balanced by notes of vanilla, floral nuances, and a chocolatey touch. A unique batch of cask no. 17, only 304 bottles, part of The Spirit of Art 4 series, with a label designed by Diego Zangirolami.
